Stand For Strays
Since childhood, I have always felt a deep connection with animals and nature, and that bond has only grown stronger with time. For years, I have been rescuing, feeding, sterilising, and providing medical care for strays—dogs, cats, cows, and every animal in need that crossed my path. I also ensure that those who pass away receive a respectful cremation, so they are not left on the streets without dignity. Whenever possible, I help strays find loving homes through adoption, giving them the chance at a better life.

What began as a personal calling slowly grew into a community of animal lovers who support this mission in countless ways. Yet, as the number of animals in need increases, so do the expenses, making it harder to manage alone. That is why I started Stand for Strays—to continue this work with love, compassion, and dignity, while inviting others to join hands in giving every stray the care and respect they deserve.
If you vibe with the cause, join in — volunteer, or simply support by buying digital products from my store. Every bit counts, and every paw matters.
Every digital product you buy funds this cause, with 100% of proceeds going to stray animals.
I need compassionate volunteers in South Delhi and other areas to help with feeding, rescues, vet visits, and other essential work for stray animals. If you’re willing to lend a hand, even occasionally, your support can make a huge difference! ❤️
Why Animal Welfare & Mental Health Are Deeply Connected
-
Stress buster: Spending time with animals lowers stress hormones and even blood pressure — basically nature’s free therapy.
-
Mood boosters: Animals don’t judge, they just love — which helps reduce loneliness, anxiety, and low moods.
-
Feel-good factor: Acts of kindness like feeding or rescuing strays release happy hormones (oxytocin & dopamine).
-
Mindfulness in action: Being around animals pulls you into the present moment — no overthinking, just pure connection.
-
Helping hands (and paws!): Service animals support people with disabilities, proving how powerful the human-animal bond really is.
-
Science agrees: 86% of pet owners say their animals improve their mental health.
Pls note: Stand for Strays is a personal initiative, not a registered NGO.
